1. Hot Rolled Steel Buildings :

Hot Rolled Steel Buildings use an I or H profile hot-rolled steel sections for rafters, columns, beams & joists. They are cut into length,  fabricated and painted in the factory prior to delivery. They are the heaviest form of steel building solutions and are common where heavy internal crane rails are required. Hot rolled portal frames have a haunch at the knee joint and apex which are cut from the steel sections similar to the columns and rafter.
 
The sub-frames or secondary members i.e. roof purlins and wall girts used for fixing the exterior cladding may be either of galvanized, zincalume steel C or Z-section which are bolted to the cleats attached to the rafter and columns.
